Today, I Am Thankful For....

T - The truth found in God's Word

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 8:32

H - Heaven

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."
John 14:23
 
A - Abundant Blessings

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3

N - Never-ending Love

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

K - Knowledge of God


His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

S - The sacrifice for our sins

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

G - God's gift of eternal life

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I - Integrity of fellow Christians

V - The vine - Jesus

I - Inheritance for children of God

N - Needs met by God

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

G - God's grace

What a wonderful Acronym you have done to capture all the BEST to be thankful for... and how wonderful that you incorporated Bible verses.

I popped over from Christian Blogs because your blog title "Shine Like Stars" and I'm so glad I did. Not part of Heavenly Homemakers or even a very good homemaker..

Helene - It's good to hear from you! I just thought about you a few weeks ago.....when our little town had a tornado! Thankfully no one was hurt, though some buildings and a home was damaged. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Alex!
