QMCC 2016

Friday was the end of our family's week at Quartz Mountain Christian Camp. It was a wonderful week!

My husband and oldest son directed the session together again for the second year. The theme for th year was PURSUE, using 2 Timothy 2:22, “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” Joe and Zachary did a great job! Of course, I know my husband could do it, but seeing an almost 20-year-old take a leadership role like this - and do it well and for God's glory - makes this momma proud and thankful.
For a last night of camp banquet, we had a glow in the dark/blacklight reactive theme. It was so much fun! The kids really enjoyed it!
The highlight of the week, though, had to be the fact that six souls gave their lives to Jesus, as they obeyed the gospel and were baptized into Christ for the remission of their sins! What a wonderful thing! We praise God for His work in the lives of these teens!

We already can't wait to go back to QMCC next year!

So proud of Zachary for taking on this leadership role! It's a lot of hard work and a sacrifice and I'm thankful they were both able to do it. The Black light banquet looked fun!
